Refund & Cancellation

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all digital services provided by Ashif Builds ("we," "us," or "our").

We aim to deliver high-quality work and maintain 100% transparent relationships. However, due to the custom, project-based, and time-intensive nature of our services (writing code, designing interfaces, AI setup), refunds and cancellations are strictly limited. By engaging our services or making any payment, you agree to this Policy.

1. General Principles

• All payments are non-refundable except in the specific cases outlined below.
• Once work begins, time, resources, and expertise are committed, making full refunds impossible.
• Refunds (when applicable) are processed within 15-30 business days via the original payment method.
• Promotional discounts (e.g., Early Bird Discounts, Student Deals) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Taxes (GST, etc.) and third-party fees (domains, premium plugins) are not refundable under any circumstances.

2. Advance / Deposit Payments

• We typically require a 30-50% advance/deposit upon acceptance of the project quote to secure your slot.
• This advance/deposit is strictly non-refundable once we commence work (including planning, research, wireframing, or server setup).
• If the project is cancelled by you before any work begins, we may, at our sole discretion, refund up to 50% of the advance after deducting administrative and opportunity costs.

3. Milestone-Based Payments and Refunds

For larger projects, refunds are only considered for uncompleted milestones:

• Planning Phase: Up to 70% refund of payments made for this phase if cancelled before design begins.
• Design Phase: No refund for approved designs.
• Development Phase: No refund for completed code, features, or modules delivered.
• Deployment Phase: No refund once the project is live or handed over to your server.

4. No-Refund Situations

No refunds will be issued in the following scenarios:

• Completed and accepted deliverables (e.g., final website, app, or AI chatbot).
• Project delays or issues caused by the client (e.g., late feedback, missing content).
• Termination due to client breach (e.g., non-payment, lack of communication).
• After project sign-off or 7 days post-delivery (whichever is earlier).

5. Cancellation Procedure

• Cancellations must be requested in writing via email to info@ashifbuilds.in.
• We will acknowledge the request within 2 business days and provide a final settlement statement.
• You must settle any outstanding payments for work already completed before the cancellation takes effect. Upon mutual agreement, we will cease work and deliver any partially completed code or designs.
